Dense Planting with Reducing Nitrogen Rate Increased Nitrogen Use Efficiency and Translocated Nitrogen in Grains in Double-Cropped Rice

Nitrogen fertilization and planting density are two key factors that influence the yield of rice. Reducing nitrogen fertilizer input increasing will help to improve use efficiency stabilize yield. Field 15N tracer method in plot experiments were conducted study trends yield, (NUE) transfer hybrid rice conventional under dense with a reduced rate (DPRN) sparse high (SPHN). Among plants, proportion from DPRN was by 1.8–13%. The late-season (LSR) had higher decrease compared early-season (ESR). uptake significantly than SPHN, an increase 7.7–21.9%. accumulated translocated ratio before heading stage 6.1–10.8% 2.0–9.6% those respectively. did not change different treatments. Those findings suggest could guarantee stabilized while NUE amount double-cropped system.
